Biography:

Frank Castle, known as The Punisher, is a vigilante character portrayed in the Netflix Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series. He first appeared in the second season of the TV Show Daredevil.

Castle, a former United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance veteran, becomes a brutal vigilante after his family is murdered in a gangland shooting. Consumed by grief and rage, he dedicates his life to punishing criminals by any means necessary, often employing lethal force.

The Netflix series explores Castle's past, revealing a conspiracy involving military operations and the events leading up to his family's death. Jon Bernthal portrayed the Punisher in the Daredevil TV Show, and later had his own series on Netflix, where his unrelenting war on crime is further explored.
